wood of a toboggan - coupled with the fast whoosh of the sled as
it takes the rider down a frosty slope…It's a winter fun experience
like no other in Michigan. When the snow begins to blanket the ground,
bundle up the family for an outdoor experience that families and
friends have enjoyed together for generations.
Whether it's on a toboggan, a sled, a tube or a horse-drawn sleigh,
check out these fun Michigan spots for a great place to glide:
The Fridge Toboggan Run, Waterford - At the popular "The Fridge"
toboggan run, up to four riders swoosh down a 55-foot drop and zip
along 950 feet at speeds in excess of 30 miles per hour. Toboggans
are provided and transported by the park staff. To warm up following
an afternoon of frosty fun, visit Lookout Lodge, complete with fireplace,
concessions and viewing areas.
