Snow Sleds:
Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the best place to ride my snow sled?

Riding your snow sled in state or county parks are the best places. Golf courses can also be a great place to ride your snow sled if they are available for such usage. Neighborhoods are good places, as long as an adult is watching for cars. If children are older and don't need adult supervision, make sure a lookout is always watching for oncoming traffic. Choose a venue right for your choice of sledding. Faster sledding requires higher, steeper hills. More leisurely sledding can be done almost anywhere, from medium hills to flat ground where a sled can be pulled.

If you make jumps or ramps, or any sledding-enhancing devices, be sure to disassemble if they are made on public property.
