Sleds:
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the youngest age that my child should be safe riding
a snow sled?
At age four your child is very agile and able to make decisions
with the guidance of a parent. Riding a snow sled is something no
child should do without parental supervision and age four is definitely
the youngest. Make sure the child is bundled up enough to withstand
the temperatures conducive to snow sledding. With small children
it is especially important to stay away from hills with lots of
trees or with dangers at the bottom, such as fire hydrants or fences.
