seems as though kids are interested in fashion at a younger and
younger age every year. Perhaps this is due to children being expected
to be more mature at a younger age than before, or maybe it’s
just that we parents spark a fashion interest at an earlier age
than ever before. Whatever the reason, there’s no harm in
allowing children to be fashionable. You can start your little one
off right by following this winter’s fashion trends for kids
when buying their winter wardrobe.
This year, one of the top kid winter fashions is military or western
inspired. Combined with a little bit of an 80’s look, these
fashions are very popular. Another very popular fashion for little
girls this winter is faux fur. Think boots, coats, and more. Whatever
item you choose with faux fur will be a fashionable choice for kids
this season.
Since warmth is very important during the wintertime, you will
want to choose items for your kid’s winter wardrobe that are
not only trendy, but also offer the warmth that they need. This
can be accomplished with several clothing items. This includes coats
and jackets (faux fur or suede are very popular), ponchos (these
are great in animal prints, especially with matching pants or other
items), and hoodies (these are those sweatshirts with a hood).
Since clothes are military inspired this year, there are many choices
(for coats and jackets as well as pants and skirts) available in
camouflage. The choices for this style are not limited, however.
There are many items available in the traditional greens and browns,
but you can also find purples, blues and pinks available.
Another popular style in kid winter fashions is the western style.
This includes boots and boot-cut jeans. With an added splash of
color, you can dress these pieces up and make them extremely trendy
for any kid.
Since kid winter fashions often mimic adult fashions, you can often
find the same styles available for adults. This means that many
of the pieces that are available for kids can be found for adults
as well. The prices, however are often much higher for adults. Not
only does it require more material and work to manufacture them
(which automatically increases the price), but adults often prefer
real to fake. This increases the price dramatically for adult fashions.
But, this also means you get to display your trendiness through
your kid’s winter fashions at a fraction of the price it would
cost for you to do it with your own.
