Made of 5/8" thick plywood, the Slalom is the first fullly steerable toboggan. You'll have complete steering power due to the pivoting action of the entire front section of the Slalom. It has a wide stance for increased stability and excellent flotation in even the softest of powder snow. On packed snow, the Slalom slides on two hardwood runners for top speed and control.
The beautiful beechwood surface is protected by four coats of marine-grade finish. All hardware is stainless-steel and the pull rope is extra-long to make each trek up the sledding hill a little easier. Inch-thick rope is attached at the front of the sled for handholds when sledding lying down, or footrests for when you sled sitting up.
The Slalom sets two adults or three children sitting up. It is also fun to ride lying down with a small child sitting up on top - that way they can enjoy the thrilling ride without getting snow in their face! As with any toboggan, the Slalom works best when the bottom is waxed.
