Sometimes the perfect gift is something extraordinary -- beautiful, unique, playful. The Elegant Flyer is just that, a sled built like a piece of fine furniture that trumps everything else on the sledding hill. Each is made of fine figured woods right here in our Silverton workshop, and each sled is signed and numbered by the sledmaker. The design follows that of the Ultimate Flyer, with patent-pending steering and durable black plastic skids on the bottom.
Elegant Flyers are made from curly maple and flame birch, with black-stained willow handrails.
The Elegant Flyer can also have a child's name (or an adult's!) engraved into the sled. Lettering is 2" tall and runs lengthwise up the center of the sled. Just select option the hand engraving option. Limit 10 characters.
The Elegant Flyer meets all ASTM and USC child safety criteria. The finish is lead-free. Please contact us if you'd like a copy of the independent test results.
