The seat of hand-carved willow has a comfortable, tilted back rest, and the side rails make it easy to hold on. The deck is made of 5/8" thick birch planks, joined together in a durable tongue-and-groove joint.

A marine-grade, lead-free finish protects the wood of the wagon, and all screws and bolts are of stainless steel for durability. The rugged steel undercarriage is powder-coated, and the solid rubber tires need no maintenance.
A padded collar on the bottom of the handle prevents pinching at the front of the wagon. The Grasshopper wagon meets all USC and ASTM child safety standards.
Assembly is easy -- just attaching the 7 bolts that connect the undercarriage to the wooden top, plus the bolt that attaches the extra-long handle.

A wagon pad is available, a comfortable reversible cushion with a water-resistant nylon exterior. It attaches with sturdy nylon ties.
